The training of polling personnel for the civic elections has started from Wednesday. During this, arrangements were also made for voting through postal ballot of the polling personnel. A total of 23 personnel have voted in the polling held on the first day. During this, DM Indra Vikram Singh reviewed the arrangements there and CDO Akanksha Rana conducted training.
This training program started at Krishna International School, GT Road. Which will run till May 6. In this, 5606 polling personnel will be trained. During this, the DM inspected the voting system before the training and said that whichever way you conduct the voting through EVM or ballot paper, you should understand that process very well.
In EVM where the technical side should be very strong. On the other hand, in the case of ballot paper, your experience of successfully conducted polls in the past will make you successful. Understand each aspect closely. On the other hand, CDO Akanksha Rana advised to learn the process of opening, closing and sealing the ballot box. In the entire training, detailed information was also given regarding the operation and sealing of the EVM machine. After this the franchise was also exercised with the help of postal ballot. Of the 900 personnel who attended the training on Wednesday, 23 voted. In which maximum 16 votes were cast for the posts of Mayor and Councilor of Municipal Corporation.
Apart from this, one vote was cast for the chairman, one member in Khair Municipality, two in Nagar Panchayat Iglas, three in Nagar Panchayat Jattari, one in Nagar Panchayat Vijaygarh. On this occasion, Deputy District Election Officer Meenu Rana, SDM Cole Ravi Shankar, PD Bhalchandra Tripathi, Assistant District Election Officer Kaushal Kumar, District Horticulture Officer Dr. Dhirendra Kumar, DPRO Dhananjay Jaiswal, Tehsildar Cole, Master Trainer Mo. Shahabuddin, DK Rajput etc. were present.
